Everything Extravagent

We started out day later than normal which was nice. But of course it meant we went shopping and I spent money. But on a good cause - a dress for the exhibition opening.
Every time I see them I still get a smile - that is the monks. I know I have seen them at home but what a contrast of their bright orange garment against a dusty backdrop. The come to the shops to get money and say a prayer for the shop owners to have good fortune.
The day than started at PSE school for scavenger children - here the school supplies the wage that the child looses by coming to school to the parents so the child can get an education. They now go right through to university and vocational training.
The nursery was full of gorgeous smiling babies and the students are all dressed in uniforms made by their mothers that the school has set up to get the mothers out of the dumpsites as well.
We tried our luck to see a dump but could not fully get in.
Off than to the Royal Palace and the flag was flying high for the King is home.
Plenty of temples and the Silver Pagoda with more than 5300 pure silver tiles we walked on each weighing 1kg. And than there was the gold outfits for the King and Queen's coronation - only ever worn once and the gold statue weighing 90kgs with an abundance of diamonds adorning it.

Eating well of cause too and wait for it - an hour long Thai massage for $6 - are you jealous. It was divine. Will be doing that again for my weary body carrying around the camera gear.
No recording tomorrow night as off to a farm stay overnight and no power.
