amazing sights and smells.

Good Morning everyone - at least it is only the start of the day here. about 6.45am. WE have been so full on and trying to take it all in to remember for the conversations I will have for months on my return. We went to New Hope centre yesterday which is an orphanage for HIV children. Amazing place. It cost them $42,000 a month to run to give every children medication and schooling etc. They have about 230 kids on site and another 1400 that they supply medication etc to that still live with there families.

THese are children that other orphanages will not take due to them having HIV. It is run by an american couple with the biggest hearts. They get funding from seveeral organisations but they are 1/3 self sustainable with chicken and pigs they sell. We ate their chickens - texas style and saw a pig giving birth. The children were vibrant and happy and as with all the people here so beautiful natured.

We did the shopping thing in the afternoon - five floors with every level something different - don't hate me I got 20 dvds for $13 and half of them not out or just in cinemas.

A beautiful resturant at night run by a program for street kids to learn skills - a 16 year old boy who looks like 13 served the girls their red wine - Anything wrong here - but so polite and wonderful.

Off to PSE school today - a program to get kids out of the dumps- hopefully a visit to the dump.
