Narrated by actress and humanitarian Lucy Liu, "The Road to Traffik" reveals the shocking world of sex trafficking that Somaly Mam, a former Cambodia sex slave, is heroically waging a crusade to expose and end.

The filmmakers accompany photographer Norman Jean Roy on his painful journey to document the brutal rape and suffering that thousands of children face daily in the brothels of Cambodia and Southeast Asia.

With the help of Somaly Mam and the organization that she founded, AFESIP, Roy was shown the brothels where he observed and documented the harrowing lives of adolescent and child prostitutes. While shedding light on the darkest depths of the human condition, the film draws attention to the extraordinary work being done by Somaly Mam and AFESIP through their programs that work to rescue, shelter, and heal the women and children who have survived the horrors of modern-day slavery.
