14 sleeps and counting

Am I allowed to start counting down sleeps yet? If you want to know there is 14 more sleeps until we fly out on a plane and land in Cambodia.

I am now officially allowed to get excited and enjoy listening to Julie tell us about the places we are going to visit.

The PSE is a school were children can attend and the families are compensated for the children's loss of earning. Which mostly comes from scavenging around dump sites and selling recyclable products. The children can go right through to higher education with about 2000 young people already in the workforce.

New Hope for Cambodian Children is a place for children with HIV to live normal life. NHCC has a village for orphans and abandoned children and is completely self-sufficient.

AFESIP vocational centres - for women and children who are sex trafficking victims. They provide care, counselling, skills training and schooling.

These are just some of the places we will be visiting as well as the stilt house community which just looks amazing.

So start logging on regularly and keep up to date with where we will be. Add comments and keep up with the journey with me.
